A panel from the Elder Abuse Prevention Unit will explore the difficulties of working with elder abuse and discuss our shared experiences regarding :
Struggles & frustrations; the inclination not to take action; sitting on the fence hoping the issue will resolve itself; waiting for a crisis; those gut feelings that don’t go away; not wishing to get involved with ‘family matters’; not wishing to breach confidentiality; stretching boundaries; forgetting self care.
